Disability and Health Literacy in the ACT

This is the final report from the Disability and Health Literacy in the ACT project, which was funded by the ACT Health and Community Services Directorate. This project sought to:
- Provide an understanding of the health literacy needs of the ACT disability communities, including their strengths and weaknesses, and identify areas for action;
- Provide advice on approaches and resources which may be suitable for adaptation in the ACT;
- Identify future projects and resources to improve how health workers support the health literacy of people with disability; and
- Identify specific services in the ACT for future co-design research.
The research and recommendations will support future actions under the ACT Disability Health Strategy.
